Cut from the last of Oregon’s largest Oak Burl, this is a rare opportunity to own a piece of historic wood! It was cut from a special slab that dried slowly at our facility. Each piece is completely dry and ends have been wax sealed. View photos for variations of amazing figure and color along with spalting. Checks are present and must be filled or worked around. Figure ranges from deep three dimensional flame to heavy compression curl. This piece of lumber has numerous checks and spalting present. Must be able to work with the natural characteristics.
