This beautifully figured Ipe lumber has rich Lignum Vitae green to reddish/brown color. Figure is most often seen on quarter sawn faces. It is unusual to have figured Ipe! This is a rare treat. Ipe also takes a wonderfully high polish. This hardwood has air dried for 2 years and may contain some residual moisture. This piece of lumber has numerous checks present in the sapwood up to 8" long. The numbered face has a 1/4" planer bite with a knot on the lower center. The opposite face of the numbers has some pin holes. You can get an electric guitar!
