This beautifully figured Ipe lumber has rich Lignum Vitae green to reddish/brown color. Figure is most often seen on quarter sawn faces. It is unusual to have figured Ipe! This is a rare treat. Ipe also takes a wonderfully high polish. This hardwood has air dried for 2 years and may contain some residual moisture. This piece of lumber has a 7" check and a 1/2" end split on the narrowed end.
