This high quality Maple has aged for a few years in log form before being cut into blanks and wax sealed. These blanks have lost a quarter to half of their original moisture content. Though not considered freshly cut, they do have residual moisture and twice turning is the recommended method for drying. Small incursions and a small random check may be present.
