This high quality Oak turning wood has lovely, intricate patterns and areas of figure! Some blanks contain tan colored spalting patterns that add visual appeal. The tan areas are considered sound for spalted wood, but they are not as hard as the surrounding wood. The log aged for three years before being cut into turning blanks in October of 2019. The wood is considered freshly cut and twice turning is recommended. It has been completely wax sealed. This offers a great quality for your dollar!
