Okoume is similar to Mahogany in its working & finishing properties. It sands & finishes well, yielding bright and cheery projects due to its iridescence. Pinkish/brown to golden tones with lovely figure make it an excellent choice for a wide variety of woodworking projects. The wood is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and ready for use. This piece of lumber has 4 small pinholes on the front face, left edge and 2 small knots on both faces.
