Okoume is similar to Mahogany in its working & finishing properties. It sands & finishes well, yielding bright and cheery projects due to its iridescence. Pinkish/brown to golden tones with lovely figure make it an excellent choice for a wide variety of woodworking projects. The wood is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and ready for use. This piece of lumber has two knots on the back face, one that penetrates to the front face.
