Okoume is similar to Mahogany in its working & finishing properties. It sands & finishes well, yielding bright and cheery projects due to its iridescence. Pinkish/brown to golden tones with lovely figure make it an excellent choice for a wide variety of woodworking projects. There is a penetrating check present. Kiln dried and surfaced on two sides.
