This lumber has beautiful color and figure and is remarkably free of defects. Boards and squares are dry and ready to use. The half logs have seasoned since 2007. Pieces may have an occasional rough edge or minor surface check. This is high quality wood! Care must be taken when working this material to prevent checks or splits. This does have a sound knot with a 1/2" check, along with a slightly rounded edge.
