This beautiful Pear is premium grade stock that is 95% free of defects or better. Live edges are present on some pieces. It has been kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. This fine grained Swiss hardwood is exceptional to work. This piece has several knots on the back face and a few on the numbered face. There is some crotch figure with small knots with 1- to 4-inch checks in the area.
