This beautiful Pear is premium grade stock that is 95% free of defects or better. Live edges are present on some pieces. It has been kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. This fine grained Swiss hardwood is exceptional to work. This piece has a really pretty silky grain, and is suitable for flutes and other instruments.
